3. Post-Modern Futures

Its 2022. Write a 50 word treatment for a new TV show format that shows your opinion of where Post-Modern TV will go based on what we have studied. 

(Think of  the development of Interactivity, Web 2.0, Facebook, Social Networking, The Active Audience & Prosumers, Youtube, how the changes in the Music Industry you studied last year could affect the TV Industry?)

The year is 2020,
There is a new kind of show where you are the media text. You can have your own virtual identities (avatars, Mii) which you can generate from your facebook in formation, who can speak for you and put across your prefernces, likes and opinion (holding your own personality) - A simulation of you! and hyperreal state.
- Post up own auditions via facebook and youtube (active audience/prosumers)
- vote on others work or talent using technology/internet... be the prosumer!
- Web cameras... you can be on live tv in the comfort of your own home!
- media saturated
- Web, group discussions
- Dystopian - free speech, anonymity.
